Last night the National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP) (Twitter, Facebook), celebrated their 3rd annual meeting during the National Association of Realtors (NAR) convention in New Orleans. Today the NAGLREP Board of Directors will meet privately with 2010 NAR President Vicki Cox Golder to discuss equal housing opportunity for the LGBT community, and Monday NAR’s delegate body will vote on a proposal put forward by both NAGLREP and the Wisconsin Realtor Association to amend the NAR Code of Ethics to include sexual orientation as a protected class. The NAR Code of Ethics applies to both Realtor to client conduct, and to conduct in the work place.
